Saucony's ProGrid Mirage shoe has been given the "Best Debut" award in UK Runner's World's latest shoe guide for Spring 2011.

In each Shoe Guide, the Best Debut award goes to the best new shoe in the opinion of Runner's World who put dozens of pairs through their paces with a team of testers running in them and through the Runner's World laboratory.

The Mirage which is part of Saucony's minimalist range alongside the ProGrid Kinvara and the ProGrid Peregrine was praised for its "...lightweight feel without compromising too much on cushioning."

The wear testers said "The shoe's strengths are lightness and breathability".
